Pele Goddess Of Fire

In today's email we go over The Warrior Goddess Pele. Working with deities like the Hawaiian Goddess Pele can be a deeply personal and spiritual practice. Here are some general steps to start working with her:  

Research and Respect: Learn about Pele's mythology, stories, symbols, and significance in your life today. Understanding her background and the way she's been historically honored can deepen your connection and respect for her. Altar or Sacred Space: Create a dedicated space in your home or outdoors where you can honor Pele. This could be an altar with images or statues of Pele, along with offerings like flowers, lava rocks, shells, or other items symbolizing fire or volcanic energy.  

Offerings and Prayers: Offerings are a way to show respect and build a connection with Pele. Traditional offerings might include food like fruits, nuts, or sweet treats, as well as items like incense or candles. Offer these with sincerity and gratitude, accompanied by prayers or spoken intentions.

Connection through Nature: Spend time in nature, especially near volcanic landscapes if possible, to connect with Pele's energy. Listen to the sounds of flowing lava or the ocean, feel the warmth of the sun, and observe the power and beauty of the natural world around you. Most importantly speak toPele from your heart  

Ritual and Ceremony: Create rituals or ceremonies to honor Pele on special occasions or whenever you feel called to connect with her. This could involve chanting, dancing, drumming, or other forms of movement and expression of your true heart (no matter if it’s pain or gratitude be sincere), she will feel it.

Some may say she is a Hawaiian Goddess and should be approached as such. But, remember we are all one and Pele according to stories is from Tahiti not Hawaii.

Personal Connection and Guidance: Finally, remember that your relationship with Pele is personal and unique. Trust your intuition and listen for any guidance or messages she may offer you in dreams, meditation, or moments of inspiration.

Always approach your interactions with Pele, or any deity, with respect and an open heart, and be open to the ways in which she may choose to communicate with you.
