Hi there, welcome to my newsletter 2nd edition I look forward to us getting to now each other.
At The Onset Of Imbolc We Are Reminded Of The Sun's Return And To Call On The Aide of Our Ancestors To Invoke The Spirit Of The Flame Otherwise known as Saint Brigid Of The Tuatha De Danann. It is tradition for those who follow The Pantheon Of Tuatha De Danann (and others) to call upon Saint Brigid of Kildare to Bless Their Hearth and Home and Beckon The Sun's Return. As the story goes Ireland refused to give up Brigid Of the Tuatha De Danan at the onset of Christianity so the Catholic Church made Her a Saint. (Saint Brigid is getting Her Own Official Holiday In Ireland as of this year Feb 1st 2023:How Absolutely Awesome Is That?)
In honor of Embolc (The Return Of The Sun) I invite you to bring back the Sun with me. I will hosting a Free Live Get Together In Zoom to make Candle Wheels in Honor Of Embolc as We Turn The Wheel Of The Year Together. We will make Candle Wheels, Welcome The Suns Return and Show respect for Our Ancestors by Turning The Wheel with Them.(DIY Style) Let's have some fun. Green Foam Wreath 14 inches or whatever size your prefer
8 white candles (taper, chime or votive)
Brown Straw Vase Filler
Greenery (with white flowers optional)
Scissors
Floral Wire
LED Faerie Lights (optional)
Offering Bowl (optional)
